Jefe de Almacén – Gestión de Almacenes de Productos Fríos

About the role

We are looking for a Warehouse Manager to lead the receipt, storage, picking and dispatch of cold, frozen, dry and packaged products for a network of restaurants. The role ensures accurate physical and system inventories, applies rigorous audit standards and drives continuous operational continuity.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the operational team, supervising supervisors and assistants in receipt, storage, picking and cleaning according to food safety and industry security standards.
• Plan logistics strategy, designing stacking capacity, rotation (FIFO/FEFO) and slotting to keep storage utilization above 85% and improve service levels.
• Control inventory accuracy through continuous audits and cyclic counts in SAP versus physical stock, aiming for zero unjustified variances and reduced waste.
• Ensure efficient picking and dispatch processes, consolidating routes, order modulation and delivery to the distribution fleet to meet weekly targets.
• Drive warehouse transformation by implementing agile methodologies, best intralogistics practices and technological optimization.
• Manage occupational safety and health, focusing on risk prevention in cold rooms, forklift operation and ramp maneuvers.
• Oversee resources and infrastructure, deciding on external warehouse rentals and managing supplies according to seasonal restaurant demand.

Required profile

• Graduate in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience leading teams in food‑grade warehouse or inventory management.
• Assertive and adaptive leadership, strong process control, critical analysis, conflict resolution and service orientation.

Required skills

• Advanced warehouse management systems (WMS) and SAP EWM.
• Experience with inventory audit procedures and SAP inventory modules.
