About the role

The Industrial and Agricultural Quality Manager will lead and ensure the quality and safety of both agricultural and industrial processes, guaranteeing compliance with standards, optimizing production performance, and satisfying internal and external customers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead quality and safety systems for agricultural and industrial processes, ensuring adherence to established standards and specifications.
• Direct laboratory operations for sugarcane, sugar, alcohol, and biogas, guaranteeing reliable analytical results.
• Coordinate sampling, analysis, and inspection programs for raw materials, by‑products and finished goods.
• Validate product quality for national and international customers, ensuring technical and regulatory compliance.
• Manage internal and external audits and accreditation processes (ISO 17025, ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, HACCP).
• Analyze performance indicators, identify improvement opportunities, and implement actions to increase operational efficiency and reduce risk.
• Administer laboratory budget, resources and infrastructure to maintain continuous, efficient operations.
• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team, fostering a culture of quality, continuous improvement, safety and results orientation.

Required profile

• Degree in Chemical Engineering, Agronomy or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in agricultural and industrial quality.
• Strong knowledge of sugar‑related processes and derivatives.
• Proven experience with ISO 17025, ISO 9001, FSSC 22000 and HACCP standards.
• Leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to travel to interior locations as needed.
