About the role

The National Infrastructure Agency (ANI) is seeking a qualified professional to lead its Human Resources Unit. The role involves overseeing all HR functions, ensuring compliance with Guatemalan labor regulations, and supporting the agency's strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full payroll cycle and related IGSS (Guatemalan Social Security) procedures.
• Ensure compliance with national labor legislation and public administration processes.
• Develop and maintain administrative manuals and HR policies.
• Diagnose training needs and coordinate capacity‑building programs.
• Oversee the use of the GUATENÓMINAS system for payroll processing.
• Lead a team of HR professionals, providing managerial guidance and problem‑solving.

Required profile

• University degree (Licenciatura) in a relevant field such as Economics, Engineering, or Psychology.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in HR or related disciplines.
• Active professional registration (collegiate) with current certification.
• Ability to provide documented proof of required knowledge and skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Guatemalan legislation and labor law.
• Experience with public administration processes.
• Expertise in payroll preparation and IGSS procedures.
• Proficiency in the GUATENÓMINAS payroll system.
• Competence with computer applications used in HR management.
