About the role

Industria San Miguel is seeking a seasoned professional to lead high‑volume logistics and distribution operations for its consumer‑goods brands. The role focuses on delivering cost‑effective distribution, maintaining service excellence, and supporting the company’s growth trajectory.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive storage strategy for raw materials and finished goods, establishing standards for sustainability and best practices.
• Ensure efficient transportation between the plant and distribution centers.
• Manage the budget for primary and secondary distribution centers, auditing financial variances.
• Guarantee stock reliability and proper rotation using FEFO/FIFO methods.
• Assess medium‑ and long‑term demand forecasts to size infrastructure, fleet, and staffing needs.
• Develop the strategic roadmap and CAPEX/OPEX budgeting for the logistics area across short, medium, and long horizons.

Required profile

• Graduate in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years leading logistics and distribution operations in fast‑moving consumer goods, food, or beverage companies.
• Experience with logistics KPIs, transport planning, inventory management, and warehouse operations.
• Willingness to travel nationally to visit distribution centers and operational sites.
