Level I Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

About the role

Baxter is hiring a Level I Manager, FP&A in La Aurora, Guatemala. The position sits within the local country FP&A team and works with the Americas FP&A Center of Expertise leadership and finance and business partners across the Americas region. It supports planning, annual budgeting, forecasting and monthly performance reviews, and helps build senior management presentations.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with cross-functional leads to create budgets, forecasts and management reports, ensuring compliance with quality and control requirements
• Coordinate with local business partners and finance teams to review projections, budgets and historical results
• Load budget and forecast adjustments into the system for the country or business
• Ensure quality, accuracy and timeliness of monthly reports, balance sheet reviews, forecasts and the annual budget and strategic plan
• Deliver a monthly reporting package for management, including budget vs. actuals and variances with P&L and cost center owners
• Perform resource allocations to ensure effective ROI on investments
• Partner with regional, local and corporate FP&A resources in commercial and manufacturing/supply chain organizations to support decision making
• Handle partner concerns and advise Finance leadership on potential business or operational risks
• Carry out ad hoc reporting and financial analysis, and update process flows, operating manuals, training guides and SOPs as needed
• Support Finance leadership with execution improvements, policy development and strategy
• Support the Canada Cluster by delivering presentations and analysis of value to senior levels

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field, completed by the time of application
• Typically 6+ years of confirmed experience in financial planning and reporting
• English C1 level required
• Ability to use Copilot to improve efficiency

• JD Edwards (JDE), Hyperion Planning and Cognos knowledge preferred
