Logistics Operator – International Shipments

About the role

Teamswell, a high‑growth nearshore outsourcing company serving US businesses, is seeking a Logistics Operator. The role is responsible for managing domestic and international shipments, ensuring compliance with U.S. trade and customs regulations, and maintaining smooth logistics and supply‑chain operations between the United States and global partners.

Key responsibilities

• Handle international logistics and end‑to‑end supply‑chain processes.
• Communicate with truckers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs agents and negotiate optimal service charges.
• Track global shipments to ensure timely delivery.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. import/export laws and maintain proper documentation.
• Maintain accurate shipping and logistics records.
• Coordinate with sales, procurement and warehouse teams as required.
• Identify opportunities to improve shipping efficiency and reduce costs.
• Resolve delivery delays or logistics issues in real time.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of experience in logistics, supply‑chain operations, freight coordination or international shipping.
• Proven experience managing international shipments and working with global logistics partners.
• Experience with freight forwarders, carriers, customs brokers and transportation providers.
• Familiarity with U.S. import/export processes and documentation requirements.
• Strong knowledge of Incoterms and transportation modes (air, ocean, ground).
• Understanding of U.S. customs regulations, trade compliance and documentation procedures.
• Experience using logistics platforms, ERP systems or shipment‑tracking tools.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word) and ability to analyse shipping data for cost‑saving opportunities.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
