O&M Technical

About the role

The O&M Technical will support Tigo’s mission to connect people, improve lives and develop communities. This position involves performing electrical, coaxial, fiber‑optic and wireless network tasks, as well as conducting field service audits in the Suchitepequez department.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems, coaxial cables, fiber‑optic links and wireless network equipment.
• Perform on‑site service audits to ensure quality and compliance with customer standards.
• Collaborate with field teams to resolve technical issues and improve network performance.
• Document work activities, report findings and recommend corrective actions.
• Travel within the Suchitepequez territory, adhering to safety protocols and using a type B driving license.

Required profile

• Assertive communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Desire for continuous improvement and personal growth.
• Valid type B driving license and ability to work at height.
• Familiarity with the geography of the Suchitepequez department.
