About the role
This position is for a Departmental Messenger Driver who will operate 10‑12 ton trucks on regional routes. The role requires a valid Type A driver’s license and proven experience handling heavy vehicles in a departmental logistics environment.
Key responsibilities
- Transport goods and parcels across departmental routes safely and on schedule.
- Maintain the assigned truck, performing routine checks and reporting any issues.
- Ensure compliance with traffic regulations and company safety policies.
- Handle delivery documentation and verify cargo integrity.
Required profile
- Valid Type A driver’s license in good standing.
- Demonstrated experience driving 10‑12 ton trucks on departmental routes.
- Reliability and a commitment to job stability.
