About the role

The school network APDE is looking for a full‑time professor to join its teaching staff in Guatemala City. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality instruction, assessing student progress, and contributing to the school’s educational project.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and evaluate lessons in line with the institution’s curriculum.
• Coordinate academic and training activities, including extracurricular projects.
• Maintain regular communication with students and their families.
• Participate in faculty meetings, continuous professional development, and collaborative projects.

Required profile

• Completed university degree in Education, Pedagogy or a subject‑specific specialty.
• Pedagogical competence to design lesson plans, assess learning outcomes and adapt methods to diverse learning styles.
• Strong communication skills, active listening and constructive feedback abilities.
• Interpersonal skills for teamwork with colleagues and respectful interaction with families.
• Classroom management skills to foster a motivating and inclusive environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with basic digital tools and educational platforms.
