Project Advisor – Arizona Plant

About the role

Holcim Guatemala is seeking a Project Advisor for its Arizona cement plant located in Puerto Quetzal. The role focuses on planning, executing, and controlling engineering projects that support plant investments, construction, and maintenance, with a strong emphasis on cost optimization and timely availability of equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage project schedules and activity plans.
• Coordinate field contractors and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Design, plan, and supervise engineering projects to meet plant needs.
• Conduct engineering studies to improve plant efficiency and productivity.
• Provide training to regional project management teams and external staff.
• Create and maintain project planning and control tools.
• Explore new project opportunities and generate related processes.

Required profile

• Graduated professional in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial project roles.
• Proven technical knowledge in project management.
• Intermediate‑advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to travel nationally.
• Strong interpersonal skills, proactivity, dynamism, and leadership.
