Robotics Engineer – Remote Full-Time

About the role

Rex.zone is looking for a mid‑senior Robotics Engineer to design, integrate, and validate autonomous robotic systems. You will work remotely with distributed teams, turning simulation prototypes into production‑ready features.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement ROS/ROS2 software architecture, nodes, and services.
• Develop perception and sensor‑fusion pipelines using cameras, LiDAR, IMU, and encoders.
• Improve motion planning, SLAM, localization, obstacle avoidance, and real‑time control loops.
• Create simulation scenarios, regression tests, and support sim‑to‑real deployment.
• Perform root‑cause analysis with logs, metrics, and visualization tools.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, and QA teams to define requirements and rollout plans.

Required profile

• Mid‑senior experience delivering end‑to‑end robotics features.
• Strong C++ and/or Python coding skills with focus on performance and reliability.
• Hands‑on experience with ROS/ROS2, kinematics, dynamics, and control.
• Proven work with motion planning, SLAM, sensor calibration, and debugging.
