Sales Development Representative (Marketing) - Remote

Its client is a growing service-based business focused on lead generation and client acquisition, building a lean team and seeking a Sales Development Representative for a remote appointment-setting and lead-follow-up role. The position combines outbound sales, lead nurturing and CRM management, and suits entry-to-mid-level sales work from home.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct outbound follow-up calls to warm and cold leads
• Qualify prospects and book appointments for the client
• Use scripts to communicate value and handle objections
• Maintain and update Zoho CRM with accurate lead data
• Perform list building, data entry and lead tracking
• Manage follow-up sequences to improve conversion rates
• Use Google Docs and Excel for reporting and organization
• Collaborate directly with the client to optimize outreach
• Meet KPIs for calls, appointments set and follow-ups completed

Required profile

• 1+ year of experience in Sales Development in marketing
• Strong spoken English, clear and professional
• Proven ability in outbound calling and lead follow-ups
• Comfortable with data entry and admin support
• Highly organized, positive and coachable; scripts and training provided
• Must be based in South Africa or Latin America with compatible time zones
• Reliable computer, headset and stable internet; full-time, exclusive dedication to one client

Required skills

• Zoho CRM or similar CRM platforms
• Intermediate Google Docs and Excel
