Senior Business Lawyer

About the role

Capgemini’s Legal Department is looking for a Senior Business Lawyer to support contract review, drafting, negotiation and formation activities with customers, suppliers and other business partners. The role ensures compliance with company policies and applicable legal requirements while working closely with business teams.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate Master Services Agreements, Outsourcing Services Agreements, Work Orders/SOWs, NDAs, Letters of Engagement/Intent and Vendor Agreements.
• Evaluate terms and conditions in RFPs and assist business teams with legal and contractual responses.
• Identify contractual and commercial concerns in proposals and contracts, proposing mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with regional attorneys to support negotiations across North America.
• Assess contract terms, suggest alternative language and contribute to the improvement of standard agreements and templates.

Required profile

• 4‑7 years of legal support experience, preferably in‑house within the IT sector.
• Exposure to data‑privacy, cybersecurity and artificial‑intelligence matters is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of the full contract negotiation and management lifecycle.
• Ability to handle sensitive/confidential information with discretion.
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
