Senior Field Service Engineer

About the role

As a Senior Field Service Engineer at GoTo, you will ensure that customer network environments are compatible with our Unified Communications and Collaboration (UCC) products. Working remotely from Guatemala City, you will support field operations, diagnose technical issues, and help optimise system performance across diverse customer sites.

Key responsibilities

• Validate and maintain compatibility of customer networks with GoTo UCC solutions in line with service level agreements.
• Diagnose and resolve complex networking, telecommunications, and system issues on‑site or remotely.
• Collaborate with Engineering, IT, Operations and cross‑functional teams to design and implement scalable technical solutions.
• Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency for the field service department.
• Provide occasional weekend or after‑hours support as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in field service engineering, telecommunications, networking or related technical roles.
• Strong communication skills in English (B2+), with the ability to work effectively in a remote team.
• Flexibility to handle occasional weekend or after‑hours operational needs.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with networking technologies and certifications such as CCNA or CCIE.
• Programming proficiency in JavaScript, Java and Python.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure, telecommunications and system integrations.
