Site Reliability Engineer (GCP) – Remote

About the role

As a Site Reliability Engineer focused on Google Cloud Platform, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and scalability of our cloud infrastructure. You will act as a bridge between development and operations, driving reliability for Google‑native services and containerized workloads.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain highly available infrastructure on GCP using GKE and Compute Engine.
• Automate provisioning and environment consistency with Terraform.
• Create and optimise CI/CD pipelines leveraging Cloud Build.
• Develop monitoring and observability solutions with Stackdriver to keep systems healthy.
• Implement security best practices across VPCs, IAM, and other cloud resources.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve uptime and reduce manual operational toil.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Cloud Engineering.
• Proven track record managing and scaling infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform.
• Hands‑on experience with Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) and related Google services.
• Strong proficiency with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience building monitoring solutions with Stackdriver.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
