About the role

We are seeking a Systems Engineer to partner with our sales team in Guatemala, providing technical expertise throughout the pre‑sales, sales, and post‑sales lifecycle. The role involves guiding customers on Fortinet solutions, ensuring successful deployments, and acting as the primary technical liaison for assigned accounts.

Key responsibilities

Qualify sales leads from a technical perspective and support field sales activities.
Serve as the main technical resource on sales calls, explaining features, specifications, functionality and integration options.
Provide post‑sales technical support, coordinate with support and engineering teams, and resolve customer issues.
Deliver on‑site training and technical guidance to identified customers.

Required profile

Proven field sales experience combined with technical/pre‑sales support background.
Hands‑on experience with LAN/WAN, Internet services and wireless deployments, including site surveys.
Strong knowledge of networking protocols, security, and authentication technologies.
Relevant certifications such as CCIE or CISSP.
