Technical Support Representative - Boss Revolution

About the role

The company is looking for a bilingual or trilingual (English/Spanish, or English/Spanish/French) technical support representative with technical training, experience and education. The role supports retailers, consumers and employees, helping them use the company's products and services, and keeping computer systems, scanners, printers and the proprietary money transfer portal running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Take calls from retailers and customers about technical issues and troubleshoot them over the phone
• Log all calls and solutions, and report recurring issues to the supervisor
• Install, modify and make minor repairs to computer hardware and software systems
• Resolve tickets and install software and applications needed for workflow
• Train users on new software in person or through tutorials, user manuals and digital instruction pages, often with technical writers
• Prepare reference material such as operation instructions

Required profile

• Bilingual or trilingual (English/Spanish, or English/Spanish/French)
• High school diploma
• Prior experience in tech support, desktop support or a similar role (required)
• 85% English proficiency
• Customer service and tech support experience (required)

Required skills

• Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Software and hardware knowledge
• Basic knowledge of networking principles and operating systems
• Remote desktop applications and help desk software (desired)
• Ability to explain technical information clearly to non-technical people
