Robotics Engineer – Simulation & AI

About the role

We are looking for a Robotics Engineer to design and maintain high‑fidelity simulation environments that accelerate the development of next‑generation robotic systems. You will work with ROS2, NVIDIA Omniverse and a range of digital‑twin tools to bridge the gap between virtual testing and real‑world deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain simulation environments for mobile robotic perception and navigation.
• Develop and integrate robotic behaviours and reinforcement‑learning pipelines for motion planning in complex outdoor scenarios.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to validate algorithms in simulated and cloud‑based settings.
• Optimize simulation performance for large‑scale training, including distributed cloud deployments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience with the ROS2 framework and its navigation stack (RTAB‑MAP, NAV2, ROS Control, behavior trees).
• Solid understanding of mobile robot kinematics, dynamics and control.
• Hands‑on experience creating digital twins and simulated sensors (GNSS/GPS, cameras, IMU, wheel odometry).
• Familiarity with simulation‑based testing and validation of robotic algorithms.

• CI/CD pipelines and HIL robotics testing
• Cloud platforms for distributed simulation (AWS, Azure)
