IT Systems Administrator (Remote)

About the role

SpartanX is seeking an experienced IT Systems Administrator to oversee cloud platforms, device management, and technology security in a fully remote environment. You will work independently to ensure seamless system access and robust security for the entire organization.

Key responsibilities

• Manage cloud‑based systems, SaaS applications, and user provisioning.
• Administer Microsoft 365 and/or Google Workspace environments.
• Implement and maintain IAM, SSO, MFA, and role‑based permission structures.
• Oversee Windows devices, MDM solutions, and endpoint administration.
• Handle networking components, including DNS, VPNs, and authentication mechanisms.
• Monitor cybersecurity measures and respond to incidents.
• Perform troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis for system issues.
• Provide occasional after‑hours support for critical incidents or scheduled maintenance.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Systems or IT Administration.
• Proven experience with Microsoft 365 and/or Google Workspace.
• Strong background in cloud platforms, SaaS applications, and user provisioning.
• Knowledge of IAM, SSO, MFA, and role‑based access controls.
• Hands‑on experience with Windows, MDM, and endpoint management.
• Understanding of networking, DNS, VPNs, authentication, and cybersecurity fundamentals.
• Excellent troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis abilities.
• Advanced English proficiency and ability to work autonomously.
