QuickBooks Financial Controller

About the role

We are looking for a seasoned QuickBooks Financial Controller to own and elevate our accounting function. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will manage the General Ledger, lead the transition from outsourced to in‑house accounting, and oversee both accounts payable and receivable teams in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Configure, optimize, and implement QuickBooks to match the company’s accounting structure and reporting needs.
• Lead the migration of the General Ledger from an external firm to an internal operation.
• Maintain, reconcile, and close the books on a monthly basis, ensuring accurate Chart of Accounts.
• Prepare financial statements, profit & loss reports, and cash flow analyses for CFO review.
• Oversee bank reconciliations, cash management, and monitor the company’s liquidity.
• Manage and develop the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams.

Required profile

• Extensive hands‑on experience with QuickBooks, including configuration and implementation.
• Proven track record in full‑cycle accounting, month‑end close, and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical abilities and high attention to detail.
• Excellent English communication skills (C1/C2 level).
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced remote setting.
