About the role

We are looking for a Financial Controller to join a leading multinational with regional presence in Central America. The role ensures the financial integrity of the local operation, overseeing month‑end close, financial reporting, internal controls and regulatory compliance while acting as a bridge between local, regional and corporate teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the monthly financial closing process.
• Ensure quality, integrity and accuracy of reported financial information.
• Coordinate the preparation of statutory financial statements and corporate reports.
• Perform financial analysis and explain variances.
• Maintain internal controls and corporate policies.
• Support internal, external and regulatory audits.
• Identify financial risks and drive continuous improvement.
• Participate in finance automation and transformation initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in Accounting, Auditing or Financial Control.
• Proven experience in month‑end closing and result analysis.
• Knowledge of IFRS.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
