Financial Analyst Consultant – Infrastructure & Energy

About the role

IDB Invest is seeking a Financial Analyst Consultant to support its Infrastructure & Energy division. The role will contribute to the development and delivery of transport, water and sanitation, energy, and social infrastructure projects across Latin America and the Caribbean.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Infrastructure and Energy Division in analysing financial aspects of infrastructure and energy projects.
• Support the Central America, Haiti, Mexico, Panama, and Dominican Republic Division in managing business and client engagement at the country level.
• Help coordinate upstream pipeline development and operational program delivery.
• Collaborate with public‑sector partners and internal teams to mobilise private capital.

Required profile

• Background in financial analysis, preferably with exposure to infrastructure or energy sectors.
• Ability to work across multiple countries and cultures in Latin America and the Caribbean.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
