Sourcing Specialist

About the role

The Sourcing Specialist is responsible for proactively identifying, attracting and engaging qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs across multiple BPO accounts. Working closely with recruiters, hiring managers and recruitment leaders, the role ensures a steady pipeline of talent while delivering a positive candidate experience.

Key responsibilities

• Utilise a variety of sourcing channels – job boards, LinkedIn, social media, referrals, databases and networking events – to generate candidate pipelines for customer service, technical support, sales, back‑office and leadership positions.
• Conduct market mapping and talent research to uncover passive talent and inform sourcing strategies.
• Engage candidates through phone, email and messaging platforms, pre‑screening for qualifications, communication skills and job fit.
• Coordinate interview scheduling and hand‑offs to recruiters, maintaining a seamless candidate journey.
• Promote employer branding through engaging job ads, recruitment campaigns, virtual hiring events and community outreach.
• Maintain accurate candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and track sourcing metrics such as conversion rates and pipeline health.
• Collaborate with recruiters and hiring managers to understand hiring requirements and provide market intelligence on talent availability and salary trends.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications or a related field (preferred).
• 1‑3 years of experience in recruitment sourcing, talent acquisition or high‑volume hiring.
• Experience in a BPO, contact‑center or outsourcing environment is highly preferred.
• Proven ability to source for customer service, sales, technical support and back‑office roles.

Required skills

• Proficiency with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
