Accounts Payable Manager – Lead AP Team

About the role

Genpact is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to lead a team of AP Analysts and Focal Points. You will supervise the invoice entry and payment processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments while collaborating with client stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise invoice entry and payment processes to meet performance targets.
• Support management with operational, analytical, and tactical tasks, handling stakeholder requests.
• Monitor day‑to‑day operations from a strategic perspective and ensure on‑time payments.
• Prepare presentations, productivity plans, and run reports to drive continuous improvement.
• Build relationships with clients, identify process gaps, and provide root‑cause analysis for issues.
• Promote a positive organizational climate and maintain compliance with internal policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or high school diploma/GED with 5+ years in accounting/finance).
• Advanced, fluent English and strong people‑leadership skills.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Proficiency in advanced Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data cleansing).
