Contador Fiscal – Tax Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a Tax Accountant to ensure accurate recording, analysis and control of accounting and tax transactions for assigned companies. The role guarantees compliance with internal accounting policies and current tax legislation, providing timely financial statements and fiscal information to support decision‑making and regulatory obligations.

Key responsibilities

• Record and review accounting transactions of assigned companies, applying current accounting and tax policies.
• Prepare monthly accounting integrations of balance‑sheet and income‑statement accounts to ensure reliable financial information.
• Execute and validate monthly closing processes, confirming the integrity and accuracy of financial records.
• Reconcile account balances and transactions, identifying and correcting discrepancies promptly.
• Verify, regularize and monitor taxes, fees and contributions, ensuring correct filing and timely payment.
• Respond to requests from tax authorities, internal and external auditors, and banks, providing necessary documentation and technical support.
• Review SAP system modules to guarantee proper recording and closing of accounting entries.
• Generate and present financial statements and fiscal reports to support regulatory compliance and organizational decisions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting and Auditing.
• 3–5 years of experience in fiscal accounting and tax compliance.
• Experience with month‑end closings and tax reporting.
• Knowledge of IFRS (NIIF) and current tax legislation.
• Active registration as an accountant with the tax authority (SAT).
• Strong analytical ability, attention to detail and results orientation.

Required skills

• Intermediate proficiency in SAP.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Understanding of IFRS (NIIF) standards.
