About the role

The company, a growing provider of professional financial and accounting solutions, is looking for an Accounting Coordinator – Graduate to lead daily accounting activities in its Guatemala office. This full‑time, onsite position will support multiple client sectors by ensuring accurate bookkeeping, timely reporting, and compliance with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise daily accounting entries, bank reconciliations and verification of supporting documents.
• Prepare, analyze and present financial statements, periodic accounting reports and monthly closings.
• Ensure adherence to local accounting standards and internal policies.
• Collaborate with the finance department on budgeting, cost control and economic planning.
• Drive improvements in accounting procedures and support internal and external audit processes.
• Respond to requests from tax authorities and other regulatory bodies.

Required profile

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, Administration or a related field.
• Proven experience in daily accounting, journal entries, reconciliations and month‑end closing.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret financial data and detect significant variances.
• Experience coordinating accounting teams or participating in audits is valued.
• Excellent teamwork, communication and ability to meet tight deadlines.
