DevOps Engineer (Azure + On-Premise) – Remote (Latin America)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our talent network and work remotely with U.S. clients on project‑based engagements. You will become an integral part of the client’s engineering team, collaborating daily with designers and developers.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, scale, and maintain production Kubernetes clusters.
• Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitLab.
• Manage cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure and support on‑premise data‑center environments.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration with Ansible and Terraform.
• Administer Linux systems (Ubuntu or Talos) and develop scripts in Python and Bash.
• Handle networking, DNS, VPNs, and load‑balancing across cloud and physical resources.
• Perform database administration for PostgreSQL, Redis, and ClickHouse, and manage distributed storage such as Ceph, NFS, and S3.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using Zabbix, Prometheus, and the ELK Stack.
• Apply security hardening, integrate SIEM tools (Wazuh) and vulnerability scanners (Snyk, SonarQube) into pipelines.
• Plan disaster‑recovery strategies and automate backups (e.g., AWS S3 Glacier).

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional DevOps engineering experience.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Completed a four‑year college degree.
• Proven track record of managing both cloud (Azure) and on‑premise infrastructure.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams on large, complex systems.
