DevOps Engineer (Azure + On-Premise) – Remote – Latin America

About the role

We are looking for a senior DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure and on‑premise infrastructure to join our talent network. The role is fully remote and will be embedded in a U.S. client’s engineering team, collaborating daily with designers and developers on complex, production‑grade systems.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, scale and maintain production Kubernetes clusters across Azure and on‑premise environments.
• Design, build and optimise CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitLab.
• Manage Azure cloud resources and support physical data‑center infrastructure (OpenStack, QEMU, Hyper‑V).
• Automate provisioning and configuration with Ansible and Terraform.
• Perform Linux system administration (Ubuntu, Talos) and develop scripts in Python and Bash.
• Implement networking, load‑balancing, DNS and VPN solutions for hybrid cloud setups.
• Administer databases (PostgreSQL, Redis, ClickHouse) and distributed storage (Ceph, NFS, S3).
• Set up monitoring, logging and alerting using Zabbix, Prometheus and the ELK Stack.
• Apply security hardening, integrate SIEM (Wazuh) and vulnerability scanners (Snyk, SonarQube) into pipelines.
• Plan disaster recovery, automate backups and ensure high availability.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional DevOps engineering experience.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Completed a four‑year college degree.
• Proven track record with Kubernetes, Azure, CI/CD and on‑premise data‑center operations.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams on large, complex systems.
• Strong problem‑solving attitude and ownership mindset.
