Inside Sales Executive – Import/Export

About the role

PIL is looking for a detail‑oriented Inside Sales Executive to support its import and export operations in Guatemala. The role focuses on acquiring new customers, nurturing existing relationships, and expanding market share within the shipping and logistics sector.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies for import and export services.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in international markets.
• Build and maintain relationships with overseas clients and partners.
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and documentation requirements.
• Conduct market research to track trends, customer needs, and competitor activity.
• Negotiate terms and conditions to meet sales targets.
• Coordinate with logistics and supply‑chain teams for timely delivery.
• Prepare sales forecasts and reports for management.
• Represent the company at trade fairs and exhibitions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field.
• Experience in customer service within the shipping or logistics industry.
• Strong knowledge of import/export processes and documentation.
• Excellent organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Customer‑centric mindset with strong communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and perform under pressure.
