About the role
Tigo is looking for an IT Software Engineer who takes full ownership of complex software projects, from conception through implementation and post-deployment maintenance (full life cycle ownership). The role covers software solutions including architecture, data modelling and API integrations, as well as technical assessments, code reviews, testing and continuous deployment.
Required profile
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in IT operations, application support, software engineering, quality assurance and/or deployments
- Intermediate English
Required skills
- Solutions development and architecture, cloud computing, quality assurance, automation and project management, agile methodologies
- Kubernetes architecture (Pods, Deployments, ReplicaSets, Services, ConfigMaps, Secrets, Namespaces, Ingress Controllers)
- Containers: building and publishing images and image security best practices
- CI/CD: designing and maintaining pipelines, automated test integration and automated deployment strategies
- APIs (REST, Swagger, HTTP methods, authentication and authorization)
- SQL and UML
