Jefe de Auditoría Interna – Oficinas Centrales

About the role

The Internal Audit Manager will coordinate, execute and supervise internal audit projects across Grupo Distelsa’s locations, ensuring they are carried out in line with strategic objectives, corporate policies and applicable legal regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, monitor and communicate progress of internal audit projects, guaranteeing achievement of defined goals.
• Prepare work papers according to the established internal audit methodology, documenting procedures and analyzed information.
• Supervise audit team members, ensuring compliance with timelines, quality standards and project objectives.
• Verify adherence to Grupo Distelsa’s internal policies, procedures and relevant regulations.
• Identify gaps, deviations and improvement opportunities, contributing to stronger audited processes.
• Ensure audit processes operate efficiently and effectively.
• Maintain sufficient evidence of procedures executed and results obtained.
• Communicate findings and progress promptly to relevant stakeholders.
• Support risk management and corporate governance through evaluation of process compliance and performance.

Required profile

• Degree in Public Accounting, Auditing, Business Administration, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in internal audit, external audit, internal control or risk management.
• Proven experience coordinating and supervising audit teams.
• Experience in planning and executing audit projects.
• Knowledge of audit standards, internal control frameworks, risk management and corporate governance.
• Familiarity with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
