About the role

The Support Services Officer will provide financial and supply‑chain assistance to the “Building Climate Resilience from Indigenous Perspectives (BCRIP)” project, ensuring that all activities are managed efficiently, transparently and in line with institutional and donor requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Provide financial support to the BCRIP project, guaranteeing efficient and transparent management of funds.
• Deliver supply‑chain support for the project, aligning procurement and logistics with Save the Children policies and donor guidelines.
• Travel to intervention areas in the departments of Mazatenango, Suchitepéquez and Quetzaltenango, spending roughly 50 % of the time on site.
• Ensure compliance with Save the Children safeguarding policies, including child protection and PSEAH standards.

Required profile

• Ability to work in a hybrid mode, combining office duties in Guatemala City with field visits.
• Regular contact with children and adolescents; a criminal background check or equivalent police reference is mandatory.
• Compliance with the Level 2 safeguarding framework, handling personal information of children and adolescents.
• Contract duration of six months with a possible renewal for an additional six months.
