Senior Backend Engineer Tech Lead (3-4 months) - Remote

About the role

FullStack, an AI-native engineering partner, connects Latin American engineers with U.S. clients for flexible, project-based development. This is a 3-4 month Senior Backend Engineer Tech Lead position, fully remote, where you join the client's team and work daily alongside their designers and engineers.

Required profile

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience
• 2+ years of technical leadership influencing architecture and engineering direction
• Advanced English and a four-year college degree
• Work authorization in the country of posting on a full-time basis; no visa sponsorship
• Agile/Scrum experience, ownership of work, and experience with large, complex systems

Required skills

• Node.js and TypeScript
• BFF systems and API middleware for mobile platforms
• AWS (EC2, ECS, Lambda, ElastiCache, S3, CloudFront)
• MongoDB and backend deployment pipelines
• Salesforce OCAPI/API, CMS-driven content management and mobile integrations
• Microservices and event-driven architectures
• AI development tools such as LangChain or LlamaIndex

Nice to have: Cursor, Windsurf, Claude Code, Gemini CLI, Copilot CLI. The role is open to Latin America.
