Senior Recruiter

About the role

Western Union is expanding its Talent Acquisition presence in Guatemala. The Senior Recruiter will act as the primary hiring partner, shaping recruiting practices and building local talent pipelines to support business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end recruitment for senior management and other positions, handling sourcing, screening, interviewing, assessment and recommendation.
• Develop and maintain relationships with colleges, universities, professional organisations and community partners to strengthen talent pipelines.
• Design, refine and scale recruiting processes, ensuring consistency, efficiency and alignment with business needs.
• Partner with hiring managers and business leaders to translate workforce requirements into effective recruiting strategies.
• Provide guidance on market conditions, talent availability and hiring challenges to local and global stakeholders.
• Execute recruitment in line with Western Union’s equal employment opportunity and inclusive hiring policies.

Required profile

• 4+ years of full‑cycle recruitment experience across multiple functions and levels.
• 3+ years managing requisitions independently and partnering directly with hiring managers.
• 2+ years building proactive sourcing strategies and qualified talent pipelines.
• Advanced proficiency in English and Spanish.
