Senior Revenue Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Revenue Accountant to support month‑end revenue close, reconciliations and reporting. The role combines technical accounting work with cross‑functional collaboration across Sales, Customer Success and Engineering.

Key responsibilities

• Support month‑end revenue close, including calculations, schedules and journal entries.
• Perform account reconciliations, fluctuation analysis and investigate billing, contract and pricing discrepancies.
• Prepare financial statement disclosure schedules, respond to audit requests and maintain strong internal controls.
• Review work of Revenue Accountants and drive process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of general accounting or financial statement audit experience.
• Basic understanding of US GAAP ASC 606 and the 5‑step revenue recognition model.
• Basic knowledge of US SOX requirements and internal controls.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (LOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, Pivot Tables, large data sets).
• Strong knowledge of accounting fundamentals (debits, credits, financial statements).
• CPA preferred but not required.
