About the role
IPESAG, an ISO‑17025 certified calibration laboratory located in Zone 11, Guatemala City, is looking for a field technician to maintain and install weighing and mass‑calibration systems. The role involves hands‑on work, including handling standard masses of 20 kg.
Key responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and installation of weighing and calibration equipment on customer sites.
- Load and handle two 20 kg standard masses during calibration procedures.
- Diagnose technical incidents, conduct equipment tests, and produce service reports.
- Travel within Guatemala to serve client locations.
Required profile
- Basic knowledge of electronics and electricity, with practical skills in equipment maintenance.
- Valid driver’s license and own transportation.
- Physical ability to lift and move 20 kg masses and related equipment.
- Analytical mindset to identify and resolve technical problems promptly.
- Good communication skills for interaction with clients and internal teams.
