Front-End StencilJS Software Engineer

About the role

Join a high‑velocity build pod to modernize a security‑critical front‑end estate for a major institutional client. You will convert Angular/AngularJS applications to StencilJS, write unit tests, and integrate with back‑end APIs while leveraging AI‑assisted tooling.

Key responsibilities

• Convert Angular and AngularJS applications to StencilJS web‑components, delivering one application per build cycle.
• Author StencilJS unit tests with a target of ≥75% coverage per application.
• Integrate front‑end applications with client‑owned REST APIs using mocks and a strangler‑fig cut‑over approach.
• Ensure each build meets code‑quality and vulnerability‑scan requirements (no Critical or High findings).
• Provide accurate status tracking, reporting, and estimation using project tools.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience with StencilJS (or similar component‑based framework) and Angular/AngularJS.
• Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript and modern web‑component development.
• Experience integrating front‑end applications with REST APIs.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployment on Kubernetes (AKS).
• Basic front‑end security hygiene and ability to interpret dependency‑scan outputs.
